Bismillah

One day, a young girl asked her father,
"Oh my dear father, do you love me?"
The father smiled and answered,
"You're the sunshine of my life. Of course I love you deeply"
The young girl asked again,
"What do you want me to be when I grew up?"
The father answered,
" I just want you to be a good daughter of mine"
Curious, the young girl asked another question,
"What a good daughter should do?"
The father still smiling, answered,
"Perform solat, take care of her parents when they're old, and make du'a for them when they're gone"
The little girl thought for a few seconds and said,
"Then, you are not a good son. I never saw you perform solat and pray for the late grandpa"

Erm..
Mau melihat ke mana
Untuk buat kita berfikir?

Langit tak kelihatan di sebalik bumbung tempat berteduh
Bumi tersembunyi diselubungi lantai konkrit tempat berpijak
Alam tertutup dibatasi dinding-dinding kediaman

Erm
Jadi kita mahu melihat ke mana
Untuk buat kita berfikir?

Kita duduk di mana
Kita duduk dengan siapa
Siapa yang paling dekat pada masa ini?

Erm..
Mungkin itu diri kita
Cuba lihat pada diri kita
Dan cuba mula berfikir

Sempurnanya kejadian
Rumitnya penciptaan
Rambut yang gugur itu bolehkah kita tanam kembali di atas kepala?
Gigi yang tercabut bolehkah kita tanam kembali ke dalam gusi?

Jantung kita berdegup
Mana datangnya kekuatan itu
Ke mana perginya aliran darah merah
Melalui mana salurnya?
Kukuhnya dinding jantung apa yang membinanya?
Kalau jantung kita sakit
Bolehkah kita bina sesuatu yang sama hebatnya?

Mata kita ini
Melihat dengannya
Memerhati dengannya
kalau kita tutup bagaimana mahu melihat sinar cahaya?
Indah wajah alam, ceria warna berlainan, tulisan, ukiran, gerak alam
Kalau mata kita buta
Bolehkah kita gantikan mata ini dengan mata palsu yang sesempurna ini?

Telinga kita ini
Terdengar derap punat di papan kekunci bila jari jemari menari
Kalau kita sumbat adakah masih boleh terdengar bunyi?
Desir angin, Kicau burung, merdu suara, alunan kalimah
Kalau cuping hilang, gegendang terkoyak
Mampukah kita mencipta sesuatu yang sama?

Ingatkah bentuk setitik air?
Apa kaitannya dengan diri kita ini?
Sejarah kita bermula dari setitik air
Sesuatu yang simple
Tidak pula berharga
Lalu jadi diri kita
Indah Sempurna
Berakal berdaya

Apa harganya?
Adakah percuma?
Atau ada tuntutan pengorbanan?

Fikir dan renungkan
Perihal diri kita ini
Kita bukan untuk dibeli oleh dunia
Indah kita bukan untuk megah di kalangan manusia

Diri kita ini
Adalah milik Allah
Wujud kita perlu beriman
Biarlah hidup tergadai atas jalan Allah
Dengan harga syurga dan redhaNya

Bismillah ..

There are lots of things

that we've learnt
that we've done
that we've met
that we've thought
that we've spoke
that we've seen
that we've heard

Still, there are lots of things

that yet to be learnt
yet to be done
yet to be met
yet to be thought
yet to be discussed
yet to be witnessed
yet to be listened

Why?

because Allah's Ilm is as vast as the universe
endless
countless

yet, what we have is as little as a drop of water at the end of a finger's tip
limited
insignificant

If the sea were ink for the words of my Lord, surely, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord would be finished, even if We brought (another sea) like it for its aid [18:109]

If we lost haya', we'll commit ma'asiah without feeling guilty nor shame before Allah
We'll drag others to be with us
Committing wrongdoings
We'll no longer feeling guilty nor shame to inflict the same disease on others

A good servant of Allah
is a good friend to others
With his haya'
He will teach others to have the haya' too
He will spread goodness
Manifested via his haya' before Allah

Looking into myself, searching for a glimpse of haya'
Not before human beings
But before Allah Azzawajall

Looking into myself, for which one is dearer
Wrongdoings
or Obedience

Looking into myself, for which one is more beloved
Dunya
or Jannatul Firdaws

Looking into myself, searching for heroes

or Rasulullah salallahu alayhi wa salam and sahabah radiallahu anhum ajmain

[ haya' is an endangered species nowadays. Do we still preserve it deep inside of our hearts?]

Bismillah ..
Apa yang dapat anda bayangkan bila berada di dalam situasi yang totally out of your control? Terpusing, terbalik, terhentak, di hujung nyawa?

Panik? kelam kabut? gelabah? resah? risau?sedih?blur?

Siapa yang kita ingat masa tu?
Mak? Ayah? Kawan? Tuhan?

Apa yang kita lakukan?
Menjerit? Pengsan? Tutup mata? Mengucap?


Kadang-kadang, sesuatu yang terjadi tanpa kita jangka akan melahirkan respons spontan. Bayangkan pada masa kecemasan dan nyawa-nyawa ikan tersebut kita panik sampai tak dapat nak fikir apa-apa. Meaning, lupa nak ambil kesempatan untuk mengucap di saat-saat genting, yang mungkin juga saat-saat akhir.

Kita dapat reflect hati kita terpaut lebih ke mana, tahap kesabaran yang kita ada bagai mana, dan bagaimana rasanya bila maut begitu hampir. Moga kita semua beroleh manfaat dari setiap apa yang terselit dari segala peristiwa, suka atau duka. Lebih tabah dan lebih bijak mempersiapkan diri, adil dalam memilih antara kasih Ilahi atau kasih duniawi, menentukan antara dua destinasi : jannah atau nar.
