standing on an escalator
while you're standing still
it'll keep moving taking you along
it's just like this life
we're moving to the end
even without doing anything

life is all about going and moving
saying goodbyes to all that's left behind
the times that we passed by
the distances we've travelled
day by day

life'll get shorter
never get any longer
like it or not
love it or hate it
we came and we'll go
never late that's for sure
