:: Fall and cover the world! ::
Snow is falling heavily outside. It's gonna be white all over again. I am enjoying the winter season.
MashaAllah, it is very beautiful with the snow everywhere, the earth looks very pure, clean, and calm. Subhanallah, it took just seconds for Allah to cover the entire place with snow. It is just beautiful, and undescribable with words!
Today gonna be nice-inshaAllah-even without the sun. It's snowing and it's just -1 degree C. It's not very cold. This means we can go out enjoying the falling snow. The past few days had been very cold and prevented people from going out. Most people prefer to stay warm at home rather than walking under the falling snow and fast, freezing blowing wind.
The snow, is one of the signs of the greatness of Allah. It's a beautiful creation, though not the entire world is blessed with it. Allah knows best the reasons behind His creations.

Well, time2 menulis ni terfikir satu 'buku' yang orang tak bosan nak baca n 'khatam'kan berkali-kali .. ape die jenis buku tu yer...?
The book is AlQuran al-Karim, Kalamullah. Setiap hari orang dok baca berulang-ulang.
cumanya semalam baca psl shaykh AbdulBary Yahya [cikgu almaghrib =) ], kat Vietnam sana, memula kerajaan die haramkan org baca quran...tp, lepas tu, since diorg found out yg muslims tak reti pon sebenanya apa yg diorg baca, baru diorg benarkan balik bacaan Quran....
Sedey la jugak sbb mmg itu reality hubungan kita dgn alQuran skrg ['~']

~Competition of the Hereafter : open, unlimited (because of the mercy of Allah azzawajall)

Betapa mudahnya utk hilang fokus terhadap sesuatu
-tadi, logged 0n to campus mail untuk check email TA for time and venue of the final review. Then, masa dah logged in, nampak banyak sangat junk mails. So, perused through the emails before deleting them, just to make sure I would not delete any 'serious emails' that were sent by 'real people' whom I knew. Alhamdulillah, I've deleted the junk emails, and signed out.
Erm, ... did I forget something?
Yeah, I didnt even look for my TA's email regarding the review. I totally forgot about it after being 'preoccupied' for a few seconds with the junk emails.
Erm ... any thoughts?
Try to relate this situation with our daily lives as 'ibaadullah.
How easy it is to forget our real intentions are. In a matter of seconds, we might forget who we are and what are we supposed to do ......

:: Then where are you going? ::
[81:26]
Look around us, how many people are not muslims?
To be a Muslim is not easy; many reverts have struggled to find the truth and guidance from Allah ta'ala. They have gone through years and years without Islam, and indeed it is painful.
Being Muslims as early as we were born is a fantabolous ni'mah ever!
Okay, let's say a travel agent called and told you that you have won a free return ticket.
"Yeay! a free flight ticket!, but wait a minute ... I've got the ticket, but where am I going?"
This is exactly the same question that we should ask ourselves, "Yeay! I am a Muslim, but what am I supposed to do now? Where am I going?"
Alhamdulillah, Allah azzawajal has given us the perfect travelling planner and map for us to travel safely and happily in this world. Take al-Quran and ahaadeeth with us whenever and wherever we go. InshaAllah we will not lose focus on the exact, straight path that we should take and the exact, recommeded things that we are supposed to do during our short journeys.
Do not lose the 'ticket' for it is the key to get the 'boarding pass' to Jannah.
Do not become too preoccupied with this world for it may make us 'miss' the flight.
~Having a bussiness-class flight ticket but not coming to the right airport at the right time brings no benefits at all ....
~And you cannot will unless (it be) that Allah wills - The Lord of a'lamin [81:29]

:: Quran ::
15:2 (Al-Hijr - The Rocky Tract)
15:2 (Al-Hijr - The Rocky Tract)
How much will those who disbelieved desire that they were muslims
[ .. - this will be on the Day of Resurrection when they will see the disbelievers going to Hell and the Muslims going to Paradise]
[ .. - this will be on the Day of Resurrection when they will see the disbelievers going to Hell and the Muslims going to Paradise]
At the time of Rasulullah, there was a Jew boy who love to be with Rasulullah and help him SAW with daily chores. One day, this boy became very sick and Rasulullah (pbuh) visited him. At the boy's death bed, Rasulullah invited him to Islam. The boy, who was a very good and obedient son, asked the permission of his father to become muslim. His father allowed him to follow Rasulullah. Finally, the boy said shahadah and died as a muslim.
Dear friends, why would you think Rasulullah wanted this boy to become Muslim? The boy was about to die and would not live longer to be with Rasulullah and to worship Allah. The answer is no other than to die as a Muslim who testifies the oneness of Allah Ta'ala and the prophethood of Rasulullah: the biggest event ever in one's life!
Today, we all should be extremely happy that we are Muslims. Just imagine, the moment after we have just finished the last paper in the final: we were very relieved and for a second or two, forgot all the tiredness due to our sleepless nights during the final week. However, this relief is not even a comparison to our joys of being muslims! If we look back at the verse above, you can imagine how thankful, proud and happy the Muslims will be on the day of judgement to enter the Jannah of Allah with HIS forgiveness, while the disbelievers are in vain and regrets.

:: If I am a full time worker .. ::
Awak keje tak?
Erm .... haah
Keje aper?
Part time jer ... kat lab
Owh..erm....bape jam seminggu?
Sikit jer .. dalam 10 jam. Itupun kalau aku rajin
Owh..gitu...
Haah..naper? Awak nak keje gak ker?
Erm...takdelah..tak larat kot
Abis tuh?
Tak..tadi kat masjid imam ada cakap pasal part time, full time ni
Ape die?
Imam suh kite reflect balik diri kita..kita ni muslims part time ker muslims full time..
Ehehe...tricky soklan tuh
Erm...tulah pasal..aku asyik terfikir jer pasal kita ni betul-betul serius atau tak dalam menjaga agama...
Sebab kadang-kadang, kita jadi muslims part time jer. 5 kali sehari. Lain dari tuh, kita pun tak pasti identiti aqidah kite.
Aduish .... kena jadi muslims full time nih..
Ehehe...tak boleh jugak. Sebab kalau orang kerja full time pun, paling lama kerja dari pukul 8 pagi sampai 5 petang, isnin sampai jumaat. Kalau kita nak jadi muslims full time...parah jugak tuh...
Apsal lak?
Cuba fikir...kalau jadi muslims setakat full time jer...kite hanya akan jadi muslims siang hari jer...masa bersama-sama kawan. Isnin sampai jumaat. Sedih betulla kalau macam tu...
Ermm...betul gak tuh. Habis tu macam mana?
Okes...meh sedia payung sebelum hujan. Btw, nak keluar nanti jangan lupa bawa payung sbb kat luar tengah hujan lebat tuh =)
ok..sekian....

::Wa Nalqa' Al-Ahibba'::
The commander, hence, started preparing himself for this mission… He used to ride his horse venturing into the sea until the water would almost reach the bridle of the horse. Little by little he used to come closer to the fortified walls of Constantinople and yell at the top of his lungs, as if addressing Allah’s messenger, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): “I will be that person.”
He then got back to learn the art of management, the art of governing and the art of war… He mastered 6 languages and kept increasing to his experience… He had this target in front of his eyes.
Then when he became 21 years old, he conquered Constantinople.
~see, isn't it great to be a muslim =)?

:Muhammad the Conqueror:
His start was a small dream that compelled him through the encouragement of his tutor who planted in him an aspiration, ever since he was ten years old. This aspiration was that he could be the one in whom the Prophet (pbuh) said: “Constantinople shall be conquered, its commander shall be the best commander ever and his army shall be the best army ever.” So his tutor used to tell him: “Why couldn’t this person be you Muhammad?”

Ramadhani Vs Rabbani
Ramadhan is over, so what about after ramadhan?
Ramadhanis only read and finish the Quran during Ramadhan
They go to the mosque only during Ramadhan
They give out charity and do a lot of good deeds only in Ramadhan
Everything stops once Ramadhan is over
Rabbanis continue to read the Quran thru out the year
They continue to go to the mosque every single day
They give charity and do good deeds continuosly
Everything goes on even after Ramadhan
Ramadhan comes and goes
but Allah never leave us even for a split second...

Bismillah
Lalu Imam Ibrahim pun menghabiskan kata-katanya,

The Prophet (pbuh) added, "certainly, I intended (or was about) to order the mua'ddhin to pronounce iqamah and order a man to lead the salat, and then take a fire flame to burn all those who had not yet left their houses for the salat (in the mosques)"

Malam semakin sunyi
Gelap tidak bercahaya
Tasik airmata bagaikan kontang
Diserap dengan timbunan lalai yang menggunung
Rasa-rasanya hati menangis sendiri
Ummi,
bulan mulia ini tidak jemu menemani
tapi untuk sekejap ini sahaja
tapi aku abaikan dia kala dia bertamu

Siyam....
Pabila malam terasa begitu cepat berlalu
dalam qiyamku di hadapan tuhan
Fasih sang imam mengalunkan kalimah suci
makmum akur mendengar
Di manakah aku
di sunyi sepertiga malam
lena panjang di dalam dakapan kedinginan musim
bilamana perindu-perindu ampunan tuhan
mengalunkan pengharapan menumpah titisan air mata
Pabila siyam ku terasa begitu pantas berakhir
dalam kekalutan mengejar rentak kehidupan
Manusia disibukkan dunia
Aku semakin jauh ketinggalan
Di manakah aku
dalam suci bulan ramadhan ...
-tuhan, berilah kami kekuatan...ameen-

Silence
Today is Friday
Ramadhan starts on last Friday
okay ..
only two days left before the second phase of ramadhan
What have I done in these past 8 days..
People are busy
Are we busy fasting and praying?
or are we busy procrastinating?
What are you going to do tonight?
go to the cinema or walmart?
Or to a soccer tournament?
or just staying at home watching tv and sleep earlier?
What about performing teraweeh?
and reading some verses from the Quran?
Let's do some justice to our souls.....

::Dhunoob::
Syaikh Mukhtar Maghroui
Dhunoob : disobedience, maasiah
Dakwah is about correcting others. If someone is not ikhlaas in correcting himself/herself, the fruits of the dakwah is bitter. This is a consequence of dhunoob.
The relationship of one civilazation with one another is intertwined w/ maasiah.
Evil is rejected in the divine presence.
Adam and hawa, and the people of Nuh as a nation, Aad, Tsamud, the people of Luth, Firaun and his people, the children of Bani Israel are punished because of their dhunoob
Allah will do the same to us if we do dhunoob. Allah will unleash the same forces which were unleashed on the previous nations if maasiah prevail.
Industrial, economic power, military : men are making themselves as ends not as means.
+ Ya Muhajirun, say to them if 5 matters occur among you, and I seak refuge of Allah ta'ala if you in your time witness these. Whenever fahisya (sexual promiscuity/zina =sexual incounter outside marriage) appears to such extent that it is practiced openly, epidemic and diseases that do not exist in the previous generations, and whenever people cheat and violate the scaling, disasters : moral detoriation ,economic hardships, unleashing of the unjust might of rulers, punishment on the whole nation, and when the rulers among them did not lead by the book of ALlah, then ALlah will unleash their mutual mights against each other (between internal citizens, sisters nation), it is He Allah ta'ala who is able and has the power to deliver punishment from below you, from above you, and Allah will divide by genders between you, and then taste the might of one another.
+Al-hudaybiyah : the son Suhayl Ibn Amr, the son of musyrik who signed the treaty with RAsulullah came to the tent and embraced Islam... Suhayl got anger and slapped and beat his son. Rasulullah said, "please give him to me, we havent sign the treaty" and Suhayl said, "No!" (3 times). rasulullah s.a.w looked at the son and said, "I am sorry, I have given them my words and I have to keep my words. "The son said, "what? you are giving me back to them? They're going to turn me away from my deen?" Rasulullah said, "go and Allah will find a way for you."
+ Allah wants to keep us from this maasiah, for us, to maximize our happiness not for HIM because He Ta'ala is ever competence. There's nothing that Allah orders us except that's beneficial to us. There's nothing that Allah forbids except that which is harmful to us.
+ In us, we have nafs. If we were left with ourselves, we'll hurt ourselves. That's why Allah sent down prophets to guide us to the real happiness.
+ Ask Allah for the strength of taubah for all the mistakes that keep us distance from Allah ta'ala.

Belajar dan Tanpa Henti - Aa Gym
Bila hati kian suci
Tiada yang tersakiti
Peribadi menawan hati
ciri mukmin sejati
Tapi bila hati busuk
pikiran jahat merasuk
akhlak kian terburuk
dia jadi makhluk terkutuk
jagalah hati jangan kau kotori
jagalah hati lentera hidup ini
jagalah hati jangan kau nodai
jagalah hati cahaya ilahi
bila hati kian dendam,
bagai api dalam sekam
penuh bara kehancuran
hidup pun jadi mengerikan
tapi bila memaafkan
batin tenteram tak tertekan
asal lawan jadi kawan
hidup damai kita rasakan
jagalah hati jangan kau kotori
jagalah hati lentera hidup ini
jagalah hati jangan kau nodai
Pernahkah anda melihat rama-rama? adakah anda suka melihatnya?

::Gadis Suci Baitul Maqdis, Jerusalem::
Dia
Dari keturunan mulia
Berjalan jauh ke timur kota
untuk menyisir rambutnya
kesan tinggi taqwa dan iman nya
Gadis suci baitul maqdis
meminta lindungan Rabb nyaPenuh ketegasan
tatkala malaikat datang dalam rupa menawan
Membawa perkhabaran
Gadis suci baitul maqdis
menerima wahyu
gadis terbaik satu dunia
terpilih untuk mandat yg payah
Dia
Menangis merintih dalam kesakitan
berjuang melahirkan zuriat istimewa
Lahir tanpa bapa
dari rahim Gadis suci baitul maqdis
Gadis suci baitul maqdis
pulang ke kotanya bersama bayi merah
menerima perintah utk diam tidak berkata

losing control on one's life is not a good thing. Everything will be pretty much screwed up and doesn't work out. One will be miserable and depressed.
For an example, a student found out that he did not do very well in all of his tests. He started to lose control on his time and started to lose attention on his studies. He does not know why he can no longer control himself and cannot focus on what he is doing. He lost his self confidence.
The cycle goes on until the student is trapped in this situation. He finally just gave up and decided to drop out of school.
Why is this happening and what is the best way out from this dilema?

It is cold out there
It is cold inside
I am going nowhere
Sitting here finishing my lines
Yesterday
I was thinking of having the perfect planner of my day
What was the best time to play soccer
Where was the best spot to play
When would the field become available
So I've waited till afternoon
When I was going to kick the ball
Oh no, there were people over there
Guess I had to wait
So I've waited till sunset
I was running excitedly to the field
Oh no, people were still playing there
Perhaps I would wait a little bit more
It was now past midnight
and guess what?
I was still waiting and
Yeah! the people were all now gone
I called my friends
Let's us play!
I was running
Playing and kicking the ball
It was now past two in the morning
It was cold out here
It was cold inside
Guess what
I have the best planner for my soccer practice
No matter what it takes
Guess What
I never thought that I was going to be very exhausted
of planning, and waiting, and playing soccer
and I forgot to include the best planner on how to get up early in the morning
to pray fajr
Guess what
I just got up
and I've missed another fajr prayer

I wrote this sometimes in last year,
Intai-intai ramadhan
Datang dan perginya akan dikenang
Ingat-ingat wahai insan
Dunia ini hanya persinggahan
Tumpang berlalu mencari bekal
Kelak kita kan pergi kerana kita bukan selamanya di sini.
Kita kan pergi..Kerana kita bukan selamanya di sini.......
Kita kan pergi..Kerana kita bukan selamanya di sini......
Datang dan perginya akan dikenang
Ingat-ingat wahai insan
Dunia ini hanya persinggahan
Tumpang berlalu mencari bekal
Kelak kita kan pergi kerana kita bukan selamanya di sini.
Kita kan pergi..Kerana kita bukan selamanya di sini.......
Kita kan pergi..Kerana kita bukan selamanya di sini......
It was after the incident that killed two young Malaysian students at Umichigan, Ann Arbor in Ramadhan last year.
In these past few days, I've been receiving death news of my friends' relatives. Inna lillahi wa inna ilahi roji'un. It made me think and reflect that not all people have the opportunity to live until ramadhan this year. May be not even me, or not even you. What have made we think that we will live longer and will meet ramadhan once again, which is less than a month away?
What made I think that I'll live long enough to be able to graduate next year? will I be able to arrive at home safely this afternoon?
Everything happens as decreed by Allah Ta'ala, the All Knower. Whatever it is on our planner, is not going to happen except by Allah's will.

Ya Palestine
Today,
with hesitation I logged on to my inbox
and I found two new e-mails
One was a news about you,
My heart broke,
I've cried while reading the news
Indeed, Allah knows best while people don't know
I made du'a for you,
I asked for your forgiveness,
For forgetting you,
Never pray for you,
and not even trying to help even in the smallest way...
We are brothers
We are sisters
We are a family
but, I have betrayed you
May Allah shower all over you with His vast mercy
Ya rabbuna
Ya sami'u ad-du'a
Anta maulana
Fansurna a'la al-qaumil kafirin
Ameen

I was sitting in the library, looking out through the window while my stomach was rumbling because it's already lunch time.
I saw a very beautiful view in front of me and I wished I could drew the view and share it with you. Praise be to Allah, The One who has created everything with ease.
I could see the leaves on the trees moving with the direction of the wind. They formed harmonious combinations and they were in a full submission to the sunnatullah.
Alhamdulillah, I found peace in my heart by looking and contemplating the greatness and the beautifulness of Allah' creations just for a few minutes..just a few minutes...

What were we doing when our brothers and sisters are being murdered ? ..
What have we done to help?
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: ACTION ALERT INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY MOVEMENT
WE DEMAND AN INVESTIGATION!ISRAELI ARMY KILL FIVE MEN EXECUTION STYLE
According to medical examinations One child dead, three more in critical condition.
At 1:00am the Israeli Army attacked homes on Old Najav Street in Nablus, West of the old city. Five young men were killed and one eleven year-old girl. Medical examination evidence suggests the five men were executed.
These are war crimes.International Solidarity activists, who are presently accompanying UPMRC medical teams in the area, interviewed the Director of Rafidia Hospital, Dr. Samir Abu Srour, where the five men and the young girl were taken.According to Dr. Srour, four of the five men were shot in the head at close range. The bullets did not pass through their skulls and instead exploded the young men's heads, indicating that they were shot at close range. One man had a boot print on his chest, further suggesting that he was restrained before being shot.
In addition, one man had a bullet entering in his neck and exploding upwards, leaving blood stains high up on the wall. This angle and evidence strongly suggests he was shot after being detained, also at close range. Another man had knife cuts on his arm. All five were found in close proximity of each other. The eleven year-old girl was shot in the cheek while in her home by a soldier occupying a near-by house.
Another eleven year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot in the head with a rubber bullet at close range, dislodging part of his brain. One thirty-five year-old, mentally challenged man, was shot in the head and a thirty-three year-old man was shot in the femur. Both are in the intensive care unit. The number of dead is expected to rise.
According to eye-witness reports the Israeli army also occupied several homes and a church. They detained members of the church, including 13 disabled children and elderly men and women who are living in the centers belonging to the church. When the priest attempted to enter the church to check on the condition of the people, an Israeli soldier pointed his machine gun at his head and threatened to shoot him. They were forced to remain in one room without food or water until 12:00pm.

Just want to share this beautiful piece of thought from the book "La Tahzan" by 'Aaidh ibn Abdullah al-Qarni....nabda' bismillah.
Contemplate and be thankful
Remember the favors of Allah upon you and how they surround you from above and below-indeed, from every direction.
"And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them." [40:16]
Health, safety, nourishment, clothing, air, water - these all point to the world being yours, yet you do not realize it. You possess all that life has to offer, yet remain ignorant.
"He has completed and perfected His graces upon you, [both] apparent and hidden" [31:20]
You have at your disposal two eyes, a tongue, lips, two hands, and two legs.
"Then which of the blessings of your Lord will you both [jinns and men] deny? [55:13]
Can you picture yourself walking without feet? Should you take it lightly that you slumber soundly while misery hinders the sleep of many? Should you forget that you fill yourself with both delicious dishes and cool water while the pleasure of good food and drink is impossible for some, due to sickness and disease? Consider the faculties of hearing and seeing with which you have been endowed. Look at your healthy skin and be grateful that you have been saved from diseases that attack it. Reflect on your powers of reasoning and remember those that suffer from mental ailments.
Would you sell your ability to hear and see for the weight of Mount Uhud in gold, or your ability to speak for huge castles? You have been given abundant favors, yet you feign ignorance. Notwithstanding warm bread, cool water, easy sleep, and good health, you remain despondent and depressed. You think about what you do not have and are ungrateful for what you have been given. You are troubled by a loss in wealth, yet you have the key to happiness and many blessings. Contemplate and be thankful.
" And also in your ownselves [are signs], will you not then see? " [51:21]
"They recognize the grace of Allah, yet they deny it." [16:83]

Assalamualaikum...
I am trying out this new template and I am thinking of linking this blog to my w.site. Gotta ask Mai to help me InshaALLAH.
Alhamdulillah Last weekend I attended ISNA 41st conference at Chicago. I was very grateful that I made a last minute decision to go since I've benefited a lot from this conference. Just a quick note : if you've missed ISNA this year and still have the chance to go next year, make sure you go and join the gathering of 'ilm. InshaAllah this is my last ISNA before I graduated next year...=(
There were lot of wonderful scholars there : Imam Muhammad AlShareef, Imam Mukhtar Maghroui, Imam Suhaib Webb, Imam Siraj Wahhaj, Dr.Umar Farouq Abdullah, Syeikh Hamza Yusof, Dr Haithem Al-Baizari, Syeikh Yaser Birjas....just to name a few =).
There are another wonderful Islamic classes this weekend by AlMaghrib Institute. Check them out and see if you wanna join the train of 'ilm.

Assalamua'laykum

have no idea
not enough time (?)
three major layer of skin
they cover
they protect
they store
epidermis
the outermost layer of the skin
immediate protection for the body
no bacterias can go through
unless epidermis is cut
biiznillah
dermis
the second layer
have the nerves
hurt it and you will feel the pain
the mechanical strength
so our skin can be elastic and pliable
hypodermis
here the fat rests
yes sometimes people become fat
but this layer
keep people warm
gives the skin freedom to move
but not that freely
ourselves
we have quloob
what is its barrier
do we take care of it
once we lose it
we expose our quloob to infection
we will harm our inner selves
and ourselves

epidermis :- immediate importance for control infection and water loss.
dermis :- mechanical strength (pliability, elasticity and tensile strength)
subcutaneous fat layer:- energy store, insulation, allow mobility of skin over underlying structures.
what are these layers of skin have anything to do with tazkiyyatun nafs?
Tunggu.................... =)

dah sekian lama meninggalkan medan "penulisan" ini. I think journal on paper will work for me, but it didnt. I stopped writing after just a few entries.
I think that's what happening every now and then. Jatuh dan bangun dan kemudian jatuh lagi bangun lagi dan jatuh dan jatuh dan jatuh......bangun? may be not bcoz a new loser has just been found.
Are we born as losers? Do we spent our lives just to be losers? Nay, I dont think so!
If we ever get bored or tired to fight, ibtila' will defeat us. Losers die before death come.
